Fatherly love?

One peculiar thing happened the other day.

A translation company called me up, saying if I am interested in taking a two-hours job, interpreting a meeting with a foreign investor. I have never heard of this company, doesn’t pop up in my mind, how they got my number, etc.

Out of curiosity, I visited this company, met the owner, who was an elderly lady. She told me that, she is a good friend of my ex-boss, and he asked her if she has any suitable project for me, explaining about my story, my info, etc, and if she could support me in any regards. I haven`t seen him for a while, and he didn`t say anything about her either.

Ho! Suddenly I felt so warm by his attitude of caring and reminded me of how he has been when I was in his office. 

Then, later on, I told this story to a friend of mine. She said, `Wow!, that is the real spirit as a Japanese man, to show caring without saying anything. Though nowadays, finding such people are very rare!`

Truly impressed, and learned something about one human nature. Not visible in sight, but caring does reach, find a way. I felt so thankful about this.

Life is not bad at all.
