‘Timeless’ - 6th April 2021

When you immerse yourself in it and set a
goal for yourself, you might fully focus simply on following through day by
day, as if you are taking a straightforward path.

By all means, the wheels might be fully
rotated with your daily habits and tasks, in order to achieve your targeted goal.
Consistency would drive us.

In the case of an immersive type like me,
it can be a situation where you cannot see the outside surroundings any longer,
here and then. Then, after being absorbed and being overwhelmed, you simply
burn out suddenly one day.

By now, I understand my own habitual
patterns, that I try to deflate my daily routine when I feel so caught up with
my daily schedule.

I will not do anything on one weekend. Literally
do nothing. Minimal movement. As if having a rainy day outside, for a perfect
excuse to stay home.

I will try not to touch the computer as
much as possible for such a relaxing day, since you start surfing on the net,
then you will end up downloading so much information that would lead back to a
feeling of being overwhelmed again.

Consciously or not, all of us are exploited
on so much information nowadays and energetically affected by it. So it is a kind
of recharging effect to plug off yourself from such a surrounding, and having ‘me-alone’
time.

If you give yourself time to empty your
mind, you will have more room to look at a project you are working on from a
different angle, for instance, or come up with new ideas.

There is always duality in flexibility.
