Once you start bullying yourself, you can dig endless holes. When I’m weak, I tend to focus on my mistakes. There is no place to hide and you may just be drowning. If you are at the mercy of such memories of the past, you may be disgusted by yourself who was blind. Still, life goes forward. It goes on in whatever form it takes. No matter what conversations take place within you, life will still move forward.
So what? How do I deal with my failure? How do you want to deal with your own mistakes?
In the past, I used to be a clown who behaved as if nothing had happened. The truth is, even if you are aware of your weakness behind the scenes, you could pass by with a smile.
However, one day I dropped the mask. When the harmony returned to my daily life, I suddenly stopped carrying such a mask in a natural way.
Thoughts that were meaningless and over-thought, or just bubbles of thought, unexpectedly passed through such a day. Why have you been bound by such an idea until now? Where are those seeds coming from? (If you dig up here, the reason will come out endlessly.) The bubble of thought was the bubble of thought. It may have been convenient for others, but it may not be convenient for me. If you think about the expectations of others, it will be difficult to balance your own axis. Around that, I was very clumsy. Which do you prioritize? This was always the key to me. When I was faced with such a situation, I tended to avoid facing others, but the more I avoided it, the more it seemed to come. Speaking of trauma from childhood, you might say.
I think that the image of me that others think is only a part of it after all. How really do you know someone as who she/he is? How much do you really know who you really are?
The indescribable upset that occurs when you start thinking. I stopped cheating myself with the face of nothing, and when I felt that uncomfortable inside myself, I simply observed the situation.
Such changes in the response to oneself gradually affected the outside. Instead of being a ‘nice’ girl in front of others, I started to have some moments when I hold the invisible notice board saying that ‘it is not the right time for you to talk to me’. And it seems working quite well. More than my expectation (or rather worrying), people were fine about it. On the contrary, I started to hear more provocations from people, with which oddly enough, I started to feel closer to the surroundings.
When you’re about to lose sight of yourself, or when you feel uncomfortable with yourself, it’s best to spend your days in a natural way, without having to put a strain on yourself with an extra mask. That is what I learned.
