‘The forest labyrinth #01’ - 23rd February 2022

Your hands don’t lie.

Since what has piled up in you is expressed there on your hands. As if your hands have an independent will on their own. Apart from a cunning brain and a temperamental heart. As if your hands have a separate intention on their own. It simply shows something as a trace of
history for who you are.

I am staring at my hands for a moment. You would see in your hands showing how time has been passing.

Among the teachers at my university, a teacher had wrinkles between the eyebrows shaped like a vortex. How much time and years, I wonder, did he spend on for ‘thinking’ to gain such a shape of wrinkles? Naturally, I got interested in his hands too out of curiosity.

Before becoming a university tutor, he was an architect and a furniture designer. I still clearly remember his thick hands showing his professional craftsmanship. He used to say:

“Try to feel and learn the scale and volume of space with your whole body every time you enter a certain space. Even if it is a slight difference in millimeters, you will sense through your physical body if that scale would be comfortable or not.”

‘Keep walking’ - 18th February 2022

I am listening to the same sound over and over again.

As time goes by, you might sense something different from the sound you hear in the morning and the sound you hear at night. It is the exact same tune in a song. Though you would receive them differently. In order for you to understand and to feel it from unexpected angles.

You might be able to discover the flow of delicate parts that could not be read yesterday. You have listened to it many times, however, this morning it seems to have a hidden message directed to your heart.

Simply listen.

Having listened attentively, you would explore some visual images in your mind.

As if asking myself, how far could we hone our intuition?

‘Unexpected angles’ - 18th February 2022

‘Speaking my language’ - 13th February 2022

All I could see was outlined by pure white freshly landed from the sky.

There has been a sense of relief within the winterly scenery. The shiny light hits the snow falling from the sky, transforming the scenery as far as the eye can see into an illusionistic world.

Every time I see the imaginative world of white, my thoughts would go on a time-traveling into my childhood memories. We are accumulating tons of wonders in our hearts. Though we usually don’t even notice the weight of those random out-of-order memories and associated wonders that we have stored in us. We wouldn’t know why we remember those particular sceneries, reminding us about what? Or why would it be coming back around this
moment? Meanwhile, there are memories that we can’t remember the details we wish to keep.

There is a forgotten piece of ‘Me,’ which I abandoned a long while ago. The line of memory could trace over when we are ready to integrate.

I remember the hands of my father that made a Kamakura from snow. The next day I played in that Kamakura so much that I had a fever.
