‘The mystery of life’ - 13th February 2021

It is so easy to get distracted by so many opportunities to meet people and interact. There are tons of exhibitions, galleries, events, all happening here and there on-line as well as off-line.

If I could advise the past me, I wish she was more stubborn to pursue her dream at her priority, by being able to say ‘No’ to someone else’s agenda.

After a long period of staying abroad, I guess, I forgot the first reason that I came that far abroad for study. I wish I was much stronger with this standing point.

People used to say about me that, ‘you are a giver, sometimes too much’. I didn’t even think in-depth of the meaning of this opinion. 

To the end, I was not helping anybody simply by letting people undermine things that I thought were out of kindness but it was not. It didn’t bring anything for myself as well as for others. It was wasted. 

‘Kindness and compassion’ is a kind of tricky subject in a way.

There are some people who would mistranslate your kindness as weakness. I know you didn’t support them out of pleasing or so. Simply you thought that you were doing good things. Though, please remind yourself whether the other person is capable of caring for where you are standing with your situation. Interaction only works in an equal term.

Even you might feel uncomfortable in the beginning, you will see over the course that you would create your own place of the light, to be yourself, to be heard.

‘Integration of the left and right’ - 12th February 2021

An ending comes easily for a moment of a second, but in order to create something, we can only take one step after another. We can build up one brick after another. At any time, 2 comes after 1 and does not jump over to 10.

Then, when something broke, and you might feel like a board game backing on the first line starting from 1. Or even from 0. Then, at this moment, you might call a mystery of life or not, there will be opportunities to play an active role in the process for what was broken before and you felt that you were a failure in some ways.

You might receive a chance to be in charge of a similar project to what once you failed, or the stumbling block of human relationships has grown into a harmonious form this time. You might not see it in a direct manner, because we are learning without realizing it at that moment.

You would have been the person for yourself to know you the longest in your life, and surely you feel like you know yourself best. Though, it doesn’t work like meeting a friend who you haven’t met for a year or so and said, ‘Oh! You have grown up!’. Not easy to see yourself objectively.

There is no way to learn more than what you experienced with your whole body and what you felt in the process. No matter how much you read books or think that you understand it as knowledge. 

Express your unique special experience in a way that you have felt. You are the only person who has walked on your path so far.

‘Something real’ - 11th February 2021

As if playing a chess game, the strategic planning to be tested out.

The impulsively coming tend to pass by with a high speed as if showing the beginning and the ending in the same manner.

There is a moment when the sky covered with clouds will open up out of sudden in an unexpected manner. If you feel that kind of atmosphere, don’t hesitate and go all the way. You don’t have time to think about anything, and when you notice it, you would have already been holding the key in your hand. If you get the instinctual sign, go further. You will stretch yourself as much as you can at that moment.

It might have been so long for you to be on hold until you looking up the blue sky in such a manner. Sometimes, your attitude during this waiting period will hone your intuition.

When you act for the sake of acting itself, you tend to overlook precious things.

From around this time last year, in a blink of an eye, it was completely locked down at the end of March, when I was still staying in Manila, the Philippines.

During the home-stay period, I was looking at the Masukake line (on my left palm, there are chain-up lines of mind and heart.), “Am I going to be homeless again?”

After all, I lost my job in the Philippines and returned to Japan in late June last year 2020. 

It’s been almost half a year since, and it’s a mystery that I’ve survived as a freelancer.

This is also due to the Masukake line, I wonder.  As if the Dharma doll would fall and get up soon after.
